Dr Jessica Coppini began working in the Paediatric Department at Mater Dei Hospital in 2017, gaining wide experience in caring for children through every stage of their development.

In 2023, she successfully completed her specialist training in paediatrics and is now bringing her knowledge, skills, and empathetic approach to private practice.

What is the maximum age of children you treat?

I am able to see and treat all children from birth till the age of 16 years.

I have a newborn baby, when should I schedule my first appointment with you?

Feel free to book in at any time if you have any concerns or questions. Otherwise, I would recommend having our first meeting at around 4-6 weeks. At this appointment we can monitor growth, discuss concerns and plan vaccines.

When should we book our baby’s first vaccine appointment?

I usually recommend administering the first vaccines at around 8 weeks of age.

Do you offer all kinds of vaccines in clinic?

I am able to administer both private vaccines and government vaccines in clinic. The government vaccines are provided free of charge, but the private vaccines carry an extra charge.

What should I bring to my child’s appointment?

Please bring any medical records, discharge letters, vaccination records, baby book, growth charts and a list of current medications.

Do you offer paediatric services on Sundays?

I do not usually provide paediatric services on Sundays. However, I can be contacted via WhatsApp for guidance or urgent advice. In case of a medical emergency, please visit the Paediatric Emergency Department at Mater Dei Hospital.
